Dr. Shatz was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia, from 1996-2012. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of periodontics and dental implantology. He has numerous journal articles, textbook chapters, textbooks and has contributed extensively to the literature available on these topics.

This sinus lift course includes lecture, discussion, videos of procedures and a unique, hands-on training with freshly frozen cadavers. The clinician will understand the key principles of predictable sinus bone grafting and delayed implant placement, diagnosis and treatment of sinus lift bone grafting.  An overview of head and neck anatomy pertinent to each respective procedure, biology of wound healing, surgical techniques. These surgical procedures will be taught with clinically proven step-by-step teaching procedural surgical guides.
